Seasonal Employment
The Youth Bureau is committed to an equitable work environment where everyone can thrive. We serve over 7,500 youth ages 0-20 annually and rely on seasonal staff to help our programs provide participants with fun, safe experiences that help them be active, make friends, expand their horizons, develop empathy and a sense of belonging, build skills and gain confidence.
We are seeking staff who are passionate and enthusiastic about working with children and families. - Cass and Stewart Park Day Camps
- Camp Activity Specialists (Archery, Art, Boating, Drama, Nature, Recreation, Tennis, must be 18+, will consider ages 16+)
- Camp Inclusion Specialist for a child with a disability (must be 18+)
- Camp Nurse (minimum qualifications must be met)
- Junior Camp Counselors (must be 16+)
- Senior Camp Counselors (must be 18+)
- Cass Park Pool
- Assistant Managers at Cass Park Pool (must be 18+)
- Lifeguards at Cass Park Pool or Stewart Park Camp (camp requires waterfront certification; must be 15+, supervising lifeguards must be 18+ and have 2+ years of experience)
- Swim Instructors (must be 16+ with prior experience)

- Ice Skating Instructor (Excellent skating ability required, mid-October thru mid-April, must be 16+)
- Lead Instructor (Art, Dance, Drama/Theatre, must be 18+)
- Roller Skate Rink Attendant (Spring through Fall, must be 18+ with CPR & 1st Aid certifications)
- Tot Spot Assistant (mid-October through mid-April, must be 14+)
- Tot Spot Lead Staff (mid-October through mid-April, must be 18+)
Fall
Interviews and hiring for fall takes place between mid-August & early September.

Spring
